STELLA’s BULGARIAN SPREAD

Ljutenica, lyutenitsa or lutenica (n.): a Bulgarian relish, fairly mild, but can be spicy, made primarily with peppers & tomatoes

A family favorite, this spread made it’s debut in 2019. We are still working to perfect it, but it offers a perfect use for the peppers & tomatoes that we get inundated with in July.

When you take it home use it in combination with:

-feta & bread

-added to soups, stews & sauces

-as a spread

-with pasta, rice or your favorite grain!

- as a meatball accompaniment
