PRODUCTION GREENHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER

Position open for a person in the production greenhouses at the farm working with owners. Responsibilities are greenhouse tomato production as well as producing vegetable transplants for the farm.  Responsibilities will be seeding, watering and all related tasks for the culture and growing plants in our non retail area greenhouses. Responsibilities in the tomato production greenhouses are pruning, pollinating, transplanting and releasing of beneficial insects for pest control.  Initially a 40 hour week,  but reducing to perhaps 20 hours a week from mid july onwards. Additional hours available at that time in the production and preparation of field crops (joining field crew) if so desired.
