DATES: Seasonal job June-November with possibility to pick up work outside the farmstand season (November-May)

  • A passion for transforming our crops into delicious products to sell in our farmstand!

  • Responsible for daily kitchen oversight and supervision

  • Well organized with strong communication skills

  • Able to work with a team AND independently

  • Leadership experience 

  • Knowledge of food safety,

  • Keep a clean/safe working environment that meets Health inspector standards 

  • The ability to work 4-5 days a week (at least one weekend day)

  • A love of rising early

  • Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and managing kitchen staff

  • Daily communication with farmstand

  • A can-do-attitude with problem-solving & excellent communication skills.

  • LOVE OF FOOD!

    COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: This is an hourly position, with an average work week of 30-40 hours, in season. Compensation is commensurate with experience and time commitment. The wage range for this position is $20-25. Other benefits include—unlimited and free Edgewater Farm vegetables, discount on all ‘purchase for resale’ products.
