RE: ONLINE MENU & ORDERING OPTIONS

We’ve talked about getting it online for years… here goes our first shot at a true menu! Please keep in mind that there’s inevitably shortages or surpluses of vegetables, misordered or backordered ingredients, disfunctional equipment, changes in staffing, & other conundrums that ultimately dictate what we serve. If nothing else, 2020 has taught us all to expect the unexpected. Rest assured you will find plenty of quality plants, produce & kitchen to-go items no matter what day of the week you stop in! Stay tuned as we pivot towards creating some simple kitchen to-go options on a select day(s) of the week.

Thank you for being patient & flexible with us, we look forward to safely serving you this summer season opening mid-June with shortcakes, baguettes, chocolate chip cookies & the classic couscous salad!

Now is the time to stock your freezer up on all your favorites for the winter…. or SIGN UP FOR THE FALL CSA! (Wednesdays 5-6 PM for 6 weeks, and a final hoorah on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving).

Unbelievably, we are down to about one week left operating full speed at the farm stand. We have casseroles & soups galore! If you’d like to ensure that you get your favorite, please feel free to call in your special orders of soups or casseroles (see our brochure online for details.) Minimum order of 5 of the same item, please.

On our menu for this wee… we’re having fun & staying warm with our fall favorites…

We are also excited about a couple new items... Not-Your-Mother’s HOT SAUCE (5 varieties!) & Fall Farro Salad.

THE KITCHEN'S COOKING!

It's Em here, from the kitchen, trying to beat the heat posting some of what you can expect to see the next couple weeks!  BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE COOLER and FREEZER anytime for creative culinary inspiration like casseroles, pizzas, smoothies and condiments galore... like roasted strawberries (perfect for margaritas, your own dressing or as sauce for McNamara's newest additions to our freezer, ice cream)!

*Please note that as hard as we try to get our salads out on these days, sometimes the time sensitive 10 flats of strawberries come back for us to hull, or we are unexpectedly short of herbs given a heat spell... or the sesame oil gets back ordered.  Thank you for understanding!

Kitchen Jams

The fog had barely lifted from River Road Saturday morning and a bushel of rhubarb was picked & prepped for one of our favorites, rhubarb rosemary jam!  Coming soon to the cooler shelves at the Edgewater Farm Stand.  Look for it opening day: Wednesday, June 15th!
