HERB BALLS
You may be asking yourself what the heck these are. Most of our new kitchen staff comes across them in the freezer and wonders.
Let’s just say it’s the best idea to come along since sliced bread. (Not sure even sliced bread is that good!) We process the fresh herbs, and scoop them into balls to freeze…. WALAA. Perfect for so many different uses.
Here’s how to use them, should the kitchen staff ever be able to part with them!
- with TOMATOES (SOUPS, SAUCES, OR ROASTED)
-on eggs (whatever way you like them)
-for pesto (just add garlic, lemon, nuts, parmesan & salt
-with corn, add to butter, roast or saute
-on potatoes (mashed, baked or roasted)
-In a dressing or a marinade
-on squash (grilled, roasted, or sauteed)
