GREEN CURRY SAUCE
SAAG: (n.) an Indian dish made with leafy greens, often eaten with naan or other types of bread. Also popularly known as “saag paneer” a dish made with a fresh cheese, paneer. (We make it with basil, assorted greens, garlic, tomatoes, coconut & curry spices.)
WE LOVE IT…
-mixed with potatoes
-tossed in pasta, vegetable noodles, grains & rice
-with a dollop of yogurt as a dip for vegetables or breads
-added to taste to your favorite curried soups, stews & sauces
-all alone!
-in the freezer to find in the dead of winter
